Steel Shot - A solid, cast steel, round abrasive media used in blast cleaning operations. The shot provides greater impact and hammering action to peen and fully clean various forms of contamination from a variety of steel and foundry products. Available in 10 sizes from S-110 to S-780.
Steel Grit - Angular cast steel is more aggressive than shot. Grit acts as a cutting tool in the blast cleaning process to produce a fast clean surface. Available in 10 sizes from G-10 to G-120.
Glass Beads: A versatile media, tough enough to handle aggressive cleaning, yet gentle enough to apply finishing to even delicate parts. Glass-shot removes no base metal, leaves no imbedment, will produce better finishes and seldom requires masking on even precision parts. An all-purpose abrasive for all types of metals and many plastics. Best on softer metals such as aluminum and brass. Great for pistons, engine blocks and light rust removal with minimal dust. Available in 12 sizes to meet all your cleaning needs.
Aluminum Oxide and Silicon Carbide - Longest lasting rust removing media. Great for removing rust from cast iron parts like manifolds and water pumps. Maximized cutting efficiency in deburring, descaling, etching and surface smoothing application. Resistant to breakdown and has a low iron content. Available in 17 sizes from #16 to #140.
CUT WIRE - Available in steel, stainless steel, aluminum, zinc or copper. A high hardness media used in shot peening and surface cleaning preparations. Cut wire shot leaves the surface exceptionally bright and smooth, and because they are whole-bodied with no scale or oxides present, they create no dust and leave the surface clean. Available in a variety of sizes for all of your peening and cleaning needs.
